Community Profile

This community is dedicated to the relationship of the NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Medical Examiner Dr. Donald 'Ducky' Mallard.

Anything and everything relating to this special couple is allowed here - stories, pictures, essays, songvids, icons, etc.

The community, as the sub-title suggests, is a slash friendly community. This means it will contain material, discussions, fanfiction, pictures, etc., of a homoerotic nature. Thus, if the idea of a romantic and/or sexual relationship between two people of the same gender offends or upsets you, and/or you are under the age of consent within your country, then this community is not for you.

There are very few rules, as such. Mostly I am relying on members to respect one another. However, here are the few rules that do exist:

1. All fiction should be placed behind the LJ cut. If you don't know how to do this, please go to: LJ Cut

1a. Although this is primarily a slash community, gen stories will be allowed - as long as they are gen and not a cover up for a het story. I appreciate that het can feature out of necessity in some small way in slash stories, and that is fine. However, stories should not be solely or mostly het - i.e no Jethro/Jenn stories, please.

1b. Please put: 'Fiction' and the story title in the post heading.

1c. Fiction should contain the following header:

AUTHOR:
PAIRING: Pretty obvious, but it looks tidier :-)
GENRE: Slash or Gen
SUB-GENRE: If you wish, i.e. first-time, established relationship.
WARNINGS: I'm not going to make a huge list here, as one person's idea of warning will be another ones' 'like'. However, the things for which a warning must be given are: death of a major character*, heavy BDSM, any other extreme fetish, unhappy ending, partner betrayal, partner rape.
SPOILERS: If your story contains major spoilers for an episode, state the episode.
SUMMARY: Just something brief.
WORD COUNT:

* Major canon characters are considered to be: Gibbs, Ducky, Abby, McGee, Jimmy, DiNozzo, Ziva, Jenny, Kate, Gerald, Tom Morrow, Fornell.

2. Pictures should also be posted behind the LJ Cut.

3. Due to the fact that we have people from various countries on this Community, who get to see the episodes at different times, all top level posts about specific episodes MUST be placed under a LJ cut with a note/warning that there are spoilers beneath it.

4. Flaming will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Let's all play nicely together and remember this credo: 'mutual respect'.
